God is not the Enemy!!

The Gospel of Christ according to Romans 1:16 says:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

It is a power that is not just to save us from hell, but it also a salvation from the wrath of God.

If we have been saved through grace why do some Christians still think that God brings or allows wrath or in other words, judgement to come upon the children of God?

It clearly says in Romans 5:8-9

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

This means the unfortunate things which happen in our lives are not attributed to God's judgement, His will for our lives, or His wrath.

Some also say that God allows these judgements and wraths to come on us through the devil.....making the devil a tool God uses to hurt and harm us and bring grief into our lives.

What??  How can you possibly believe that God is evil.  You might say "No, I don't believe that God is evil.  I would never say any such thing!"

Then why are you saying "I will accept whatever God has for us....even this tragedy" or "God has brought this on us"  or "God knows better; He knows what is best for us".

How can we, being "evil" never ever desire any tradegy, death, sickness, murders, to come on them, but we are quick point a finger to the God of Love and say,"You just never know, what God has Planned".

People, Christians of the World, how can we be so blinded to believe such atrocities.  How can we believe that God who is Love say He allows the Devil to bring grief and destructions and steal our babies from us.  HOW??

This angers me with a righteous anger!  This angers me because in our foolishness we are blaming the Lord for all things that happen in this world when it clearly says.  That God has brought peace on earth.

When the announcement of Christ came in Luke 2:14

14 “ Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Do you know what this means?  This clearly means that now Man has peace with the Father through Jesus Christ.  Jesus died to bring this peace between God and man.  No more will God bring judgment or wrath against us if we sin.  Not until the Great and dreadful Day of the Lord when all knees shall bow because they didn't accept Christ as their Saviour.  This is the sin we will be accountable for.  The sin that will decide our eternal salvation or condemnation.

To give a bit of understanding, I will share this but more to come in later posts.

When Adam and Eve chose to sin and handed the authority they once possesed to Satan; he now walks around until the end of the age bringing death and destruction to God's creation.

God, through the Lord Jesus will never again bring wrath on the people of this earth, until the Judgement Day of God when He will judge those who never gave their lives to Jesus.

Isaiah 54:9 says-- (Suggest you read the entire chapter)

9 “ For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;
      For as I have sworn
That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,
      So have I sworn
That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.

SO,  if something bad happens to you....PLEASE, OH PLEASE,  Don't blame HIM for what happened in your life.  You have to understand that God is NOT the ENEMY.
